TAG Heuer was proud to unveil a new chronograph version which is equipped with a GMT function. This new model adopts the design codes and DNA of the Heuer Carrera, featuring the original “3-6-9” counter layout which dates back al the way 10 1963. The chronograph minutes and hours are located at 3 and 9 o’clock. The small seconds sitting  central at 6 o’clock which stands out for it’s blue sub-dial. To compliment the skeletonised dial this model comes with a skeletonised date disk which displays the at 4:30. To top things off this watch comes with an added GMT function. For TAG Heuer it is the first time to add this complication to their manufacture movement.

The second time zone which is useful feature for those who travel between time zones can be adjusted using the crown. With the help of the lacquered red GMT hand and the black and blue ceramic bezel which has a 24-hour GMT scale. For optimum legibility, the GMT hand has been mounted in a secondary position and sits between the hour and minute hands.

With it’s black and blue GMT bezel, something we’ve seen in the Rolex GMT-Master also, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph GMT still has a quite neutral look. Although there is a lot going on because of the skeletonised design it’s nicely executed. Depending on your taste and preference this watch is available with a rubber strap or stainless bracelet. being waterproof up to 100 meters it can join you on pretty much any adventure around the globe.

The Heuer 02 manufacture movement, visible through the skeleton dial, is housed inside a solid 45 mm steel case, water-resistant to 100 metres. As daring as it is refined, this model boldly demonstrates the height of the Swiss watch brand’s avant-garde technology.
