The case


The special racing-themed edition of the Big Bang model unites the tradition of a skeleton tourbillon complication, and the sleek design of the Big Bang Case. The hand-wound tourbillon has been developed and produced in Hublot’s own manufactures. Each of these superior moments – HUB6016 – boasts no less than 5 days of power reserve, which is visible on a power reserve indicator on the dial side at 9 o'clock.

These 10 pieces are each adorned with Hublot’s signature materials, such as King Gold, carbon, or carbon ceramic encrusted with gold, titanium. Their decorative elements evoke the colors of Mexico, with its dominant green. A Ferrari F1-90 is screen printed on the sapphire back of the case in tribute to the 1990 race. The case-back, which is made of satin-finished 18K King Gold or micro blasted black ceramic or titanium, is engraved with the inscription “UNIQUE PIECE.”


The microblasted case measures 45mm in diameter, and features Hublot’s distinctive bezel with 6 H-shaped screws in black PVD titanium or 18K red gold or titanium. The case is mounted on a green alligator leather strap stitched onto black rubber. The strap is equipped with interchangeable system and finished with a deployant buckle in Black PVD Titanium with 18K King Gold.
