The case


The Patek Philippe Calatrava Haute Joaillerie REF 4895R combines the craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers, as exemplified in the Calatrava legacy, and the artistry of the Manufacture’s jewelers. The gorgeous golden case of this watch is crafted from 18-carat rose gold and modeled after the classic Calatrava watches, that date back to 1932. It features no less than 162 baguette-cut diamonds (weighting approximately 5.62 carats), which are arranged around the dial in up to five rows, creating a beautiful contrast with the precious hue of the case. The dial is also rendered in contrasting rich black shade, which is obtained by consecutively applying twelve coats of dense, dark lacquer in immaculate layers. The dark backdrop provides a stage for 18K Dauphine-type hands and hour markers, which are made from rose gold.

The movement


Patek Philippe Calatrava Haute Joaillerie REF 4895R is powered by the legendary manual mechanical movement Caliber 215, which can be admired through the openworked case-back. The mechanism beats at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour and features a Patek Philippe Gyromax balance and a patented Spiromax balance spring made of Silinvar. This precise and accurate movement tolerates daily rate deviations of no more than -3 to +2 seconds, thus fulfilling the requirements for the Patek Philippe Seal. The "double-P" engraving in the escape-wheel bridge, identifies the movement as exceptional.

Patek Philippe Calatrava Haute Joaillerie REF 4895R replica watch measures 34 mm in diameter, and, with its 10.95 mm of thickness, it falls into the realm of refined, slender ladies’ watches. The watch runs on 44 hours of power reserve and it is water resistant to 30 meters. The case is set with 162 flawless Top Wesselton baguette diamonds totaling approx. 5.62 ct., while the gold prong buckle features 20 baguette diamonds of about 0.72 ct.
