The movement also features the date. Unfortunately Omega still hasn't imbued the 9300 family of movements with their "Master Co-Axial" technology which essentially adds the anti-magnetic properties.
The 2013 Omega Speedmaster 57 was coming with ‘Alpha’ hands – that refer to the 1959 Speedmaster CK2998 and not to the 1957 Speedmaster CK2915 – and applied indexes in white metal, filled with luminous paint. The 2015 edition of the Omega Speedmaster 57 changes its dial and hands to be more faithful to the original, meaning first some Broad Arrow hands – an arrow hand for the hours and a sword hand for the minutes – and then coated with vintage Super-LumiNova.
